ROUND-UP: Ajayi Scores In Ahly Win; Troost-Ekong, Agu Go Down At Home

By James Agberebi: Nigerian striker Junior Ajayi was on target for Al Ahly who defeated Misr Lel Makasa 2-1 in the Egyptian first division on Sunday.

John Antwi put Makasa 1-0 ahead from the penalty spot in the 27th minute

In the 55th minute, Ajayi drew Ahly level, it was his fourth league goal for Ahly this season so far.

And with six minutes remaining, Walid Soliman scored what proved to be the winner to give Ahly a 2-1 win.

Ahly, who have a game in hand, top the league table on 45 points, four points ahead of second place Ismaily.

In the Dutch Eredivisie (first division) Batholomew Ogbeche was on from the start for Willem ll who played a 1-1 home draw against FC Groningen.

The draw means Willem ll are winless in their last five league games (three draws, two defeats).

Ogbeche, who has scored eight goals in nine league games, was later replaced in the 60th minute of the game.

And in the Turkish Super Lig, Super Eagles duo William Troost-Ekong and Mikel Agu were in action for Bursaspor who lost 3-0 at home to Istanbul Basaksehir.

Troost-Ekong and Agu played the full 90 minutes for Bursaspor in the loss to Basaksehir.
